On May 28, 2025, Zhang Shengli, director of the Ju Xian Graphite Production and Operation Center, and Shi Yihong, deputy director, visited Datong Yan Yi New Materials for an exchange visit. This trip aimed to facilitate in-depth communication regarding subsequent electrode processing matters and exchange technical and application experiences regarding the large direct current process.
Upon arriving at Datong Yan Yi New Materials, Director Zhang Shengli and Deputy Director Shi Yihong received a warm welcome from the company's management and technical team. Both sides first engaged in an in-depth discussion on the key issue of the contact material resistance. Ju Xian Graphite's technical team presented detailed production data and various inspection reports from previous collaborations, while Datong Yan Yi New Materials' technical experts shared their research findings on material application and process control. Through multi-round, multi-angle, and multi-faceted exchanges, both sides analyzed the issue from multiple dimensions, including raw material characteristics, process parameters, and equipment operating status. They preliminarily identified several key factors that may be causing high resistance and jointly formulated a subsequent verification plan, striving to fundamentally resolve potential issues such as unstable resistance to improve product performance and stability.
During the discussion on large-scale electrode processing, Director Zhang Shengli first listed past production data for large-scale electrodes and some problems encountered during production in the internal series graphitization furnace. He also expressed the market demand and strategic planning for high-quality, large-scale black graphite electrodes. Datong Yan Yi New Materials showcased its mature large direct current process system and production data for processing similar products, expressing confidence in meeting Ju Xian Graphite's requirements. Based on friendly consultations, both parties reached a preliminary consensus on the cooperation framework and technical standards, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation.
During the exchange, both sides discussed the technical difficulties, equipment needs, and cost control aspects of the large direct current process in practical applications. Yan Yi New Materials shared its research accumulation and experimental results in this field. Director Zhang Shengli showed strong interest, and both sides agreed on the importance of the large direct current process in the graphitization process, agreeing to strengthen technical information sharing and preliminary cooperative exploration in this field to jointly promote process upgrades.
This exchange was an important initiative by Ju Xian Graphite to proactively deepen technical cooperation. By directly addressing problems, jointly seeking solutions, and making forward-looking plans (large-scale electrode processing, large direct current process), it not only found effective paths to solve specific production bottlenecks but also strengthened strategic mutual trust with Yan Yi New Materials, an important partner, injecting new impetus into both sides' competitiveness in the high-end graphite electrode market.
