On May 27, an expert panel from the Jinzhong Municipal Technology Center visited the Calcination Branch to conduct a special review and defense for the municipal-level technology center application. Leaders from the Jinzhong Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology and the Jiexiu Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, together with the expert team, were on-site to verify and evaluate the enterprise’s technological innovation and R&D platform development efforts, providing precise guidance and assessment.

The expert panel first conducted an on-site inspection of the tunnel kiln production workshop, examining the company’s core research and development achievements, manufacturing processes, and supporting R&D facilities. They gained a thorough understanding of the company’s technological R&D applications, product innovation and upgrades, and industrialization efforts. Subsequently, the panel visited the Group’s Technology Center office to verify on-site the availability of R&D space, office support infrastructure, and institutional frameworks, thereby obtaining a comprehensive overview of the enterprise’s technology center development.

Following the on-site verification, the review and defense meeting was held in the third-floor conference room of the Group’s office building. During the session, Workshop Director Hu Fuxin delivered a detailed presentation via PowerPoint, elaborating on the core elements of the application—namely, the enterprise technology center’s development plan, core technology R&D, commercialization of research outcomes, establishment of an innovation team, and future R&D strategy—thereby comprehensively showcasing the company’s technological innovation capabilities and the achievements of its platform-building efforts. After the presentation, the expert panel conducted inquiries and provided feedback based on both the submitted materials and the findings from the field assessment. They offered professional guidance on key aspects of the technology center application, including material compliance and the refinement of the R&D system, pinpointed specific shortcomings in the application documents, and proposed targeted recommendations for improvement and corrective action.

Following a comprehensive review, the expert panel determined that the enterprise largely meets the eligibility criteria for applying to become a municipal-level center. It was clarified that, after making minor revisions and refinements to the application materials, the submission may be formally forwarded to the Jinzhong Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology for final approval. This review has provided clear guidance for the standardized development of the enterprise’s technology center and laid a solid foundation for its future efforts to establish higher‑level innovation platforms.
