Industry experts visited the machine parts factory to “diagnose and prescribe” solutions, pooling wisdom and providing empowerment for the company’s high-quality development.

From December 12 to 13, the company invited industry experts to visit the Jifen Branch Factory to provide specialized guidance. Over the course of two days, the experts conducted in-depth support focusing on core production areas such as process optimization, quality control enhancement, and equipment maintenance. The Group President, the Quality Director, and the branch factory management team all participated fully in the learning and exchange activities.
During the guidance period, the experts conducted an in-depth on-site inspection of the production facilities. Through field surveys, hands-on operations, and one-on-one interviews, they diagnosed and analyzed the production management practices at the machinery component plant, gaining a comprehensive and detailed understanding of the actual conditions regarding process implementation, quality inspection, and equipment operation across all production lines. In terms of process procedures, the experts meticulously examined every detail—such as parameter settings and workflow connections—in the critical stages of graphite processing, drawing upon advanced industry experience to identify areas for optimization in current process execution. At the same time, focusing on key production links, the experts provided targeted recommendations: First, establish a standardized tool management system that covers the entire lifecycle—from tool acceptance upon入库, registration of tool issuance, tracking of tool life, to scrapping approval—and adapt it to specific tool models. Regularly calibrate tool accuracy to ensure processing stability from the very beginning. Second, implement a product pre-assembly procedure by adding a dedicated pre-assembly and debugging stage. This stage involves verifying product assembly dimensions and clearance gaps to proactively identify potential assembly interference issues, thereby reducing the rate of rework in subsequent processing steps. Third, emphasize standardized preheating procedures for equipment: After startup, equipment must undergo idle preheating for a prescribed duration based on its model and operating environment. Production should only commence once all equipment parameters have stabilized, thus avoiding processing accuracy deviations caused by temperature fluctuations. Fourth, clearly define the requirements for follow-up testing after tool replacement: Each time a tool is changed, the first produced part must be subjected to a trial run, and key indicators such as machining dimensions before and after tool change must be compared. Only after confirming that the parameters are properly matched can mass production begin.
In terms of quality control management, the experts systematically identified and addressed control gaps across the entire product lifecycle—from processing inspection and in-process checks to final product testing before shipment. They emphasized the quality control philosophy of "controlling at the source, rigorously managing the process, and ensuring traceability of results," and provided guidance to branch factories on refining quality inspection standards, optimizing procedures for handling abnormal issues, and clearly defining quality control responsibilities for each position. This approach offers practical recommendations aimed at further reducing defect rates and stabilizing product quality. Regarding equipment management, the experts meticulously reviewed the operational status and maintenance records of key production equipment. Focusing on weak links in daily equipment operation and maintenance, they shared preventive maintenance techniques and rapid troubleshooting methods, effectively enhancing equipment operational stability, minimizing downtime due to failures, and laying a solid equipment foundation for continuous and efficient production.
After the on-site guidance concluded, the branch factory organized a special exchange seminar. At the meeting, experts systematically summarized the strengths and weaknesses of the branch factory’s production and management practices, drawing on their findings from the on-site investigation. They also presented comprehensive improvement plans focusing on key areas such as process upgrades, enhanced quality control, and equipment maintenance and operations. Participants actively raised questions about specific challenges and difficulties encountered in their daily work, and the experts patiently addressed each query one by one. Additionally, the experts shared advanced industry practices and real-world case studies in production management, further clarifying the branch factory’s future directions for improvement.
This exchange not only resolved practical challenges in our work but also broadened the horizons of both the management and technical teams, yielding fruitful results.
