On March 25, 2021, Cai Fuming, Party Branch Secretary and Chairman of Bafang Carbon Material Technology Co., Ltd. It was jointly funded by Baowu Carbon Materials (formerly Shanghai Baosteel Chemical Co., Ltd.), a subsidiary of China Baowu Group, a Fortune 500 company, and Fangda Carbon, Asia's largest carbon production enterprise. The project has a total investment of 2.7 billion yuan and a land area of more than 1000 mu. The product is positioned for the production and sales of large-size of ultra-high-power graphite electrodes with an annual design capacity of 100000 tons, he further said that the two sides have a lot of room for cooperation and hope that in the next step, through strategic cooperation, they will give full play to their respective advantages and truly achieve win-win cooperation.
