On July 11, 2022, the national standard GB/T 8719-2022 "General Provisions on Packaging, Marking, Storage, Transportation and Quality Certificates of Carbon Materials and Their Products" drafted by Zhang Xiangjun, General Manager of Shanxi Juxian Graphite New Materials Co., Ltd. and Deputy General Manager Zhang Shengli, and Qiao Yadong, Director of Research and Development Center, has been issued in the the People's Republic of China National Standard Announcement (2022 No. 8), with the implementation date of the standard being February 1, 2023.
This project is based on the national standardization management Committee issued [2020] No. 6 "notice on the issuance of 2020 recommended national standard plan (revision)" issued by the national standardization management Committee. the project number is 20200690-T-605, and the project name is "general provisions on packaging, marking, storage, transportation and quality certificate of carbon materials and their products". This project is a revision project, replacing GB/T 8719-2009.
In 2020, the Carbon Sub-Committee of the National Steel Standards Committee organized various drafting units to set up a drafting working group, with Shanxi Juxian Graphite New Materials Co., Ltd. as the team leader, responsible for the main drafting work. The working group conducted a comprehensive survey on the current situation and development of the packaging, marking, storage, transportation and quality certificates of carbon materials and their products at home and abroad, and at the same time extensively collected relevant standards and technical data at home and abroad, conducted a large number of research and analysis, data verification work, combined with practical application experience, conducted a comprehensive summary and induction, on this basis, the draft standard draft of "General Provisions on Packaging, Marking, Storage, Transportation and Quality Certificate of Carbon Materials and Their Products" was prepared. After discussion by the working group and relevant experts, the first draft of the standard was carefully revised. In March 2021, the draft of the standard and its compilation instructions and other relevant annexes were formed and submitted to the Secretariat of the Carbon Sub-Committee of the National Steel Standards Committee.
