To thoroughly implement the innovation-driven development strategy, precisely align with enterprises’ needs for scientific and technological innovation, and promote the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements and industrial upgrading, on the afternoon of May 25, Bao Wenxia, Party Secretary and Director of the Xilingol League Science and Technology Bureau, led a research delegation—accompanied by Liu Zhiwu, Executive Deputy Banner Chief of Zhengxiangbai Banner, and leaders from the Bureau of Industry and Information Technology—to visit the graphitization branch plant of Juxian Graphite for a special field study. Cao Youfu, CFO of Juxian Graphite Group, Zhang Peigong, plant director of the graphitization branch, Hou Laiyou, deputy plant director, along with relevant department heads, received the delegation.

The research team conducted a detailed inquiry into the company’s efforts to master core technologies, its patent‑related strategies, and its industry–university–research collaborations, and expressed full recognition of the company’s achievements in the graphite electrode sector.

The two sides held a symposium. Zhang Peigong, plant manager of the Graphitization Branch, first extended a warm welcome to the research team and provided a detailed briefing on the company’s overall development, its technological innovation system, talent‑building efforts, and the implementation of relevant policies. He expressed hope that the League Science and Technology Bureau would offer guidance and support in areas such as tackling key technological challenges, attracting top talent, and applying for science‑and‑technology projects. After carefully listening to the report, Director Bao highly commended the Graphitization Branch for its recent innovative achievements and developmental successes, emphasizing that enterprises must always regard scientific and technological innovation as the core driver of growth, continuously increase R&D investment, refine their innovation mechanisms, build high‑caliber R&D teams, and steadily enhance their core competitiveness. He also urged the company to proactively engage with the high‑quality resources of universities and research institutes, establish regular cooperation frameworks, and achieve deep integration among industry, academia, research, and application. Furthermore, he stressed the importance of fully leveraging policy benefits, closely monitoring developments in science‑and‑technology policies, and actively applying for various science‑and‑technology projects and talent programs, ensuring that all eligible policy incentives are captured to underpin the enterprise’s high‑quality development.
