On December 26, 2025, the National Website for the Management of High-Tech Enterprise Recognition officially released an announcement, registering the second batch of high-tech enterprises reported and approved by the Shanxi Province certification authority for 2025. Our company has successfully passed the review. This is the second time our company has been re-certified as a high-tech enterprise since 2018, marking another authoritative recognition of our company’s capabilities in scientific and technological innovation and core competitiveness, and injecting new momentum into our company’s high-quality development.

The certification for high-tech enterprises is a national-level qualification jointly guided and managed by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance, and the State Administration of Taxation. It is one of the most prestigious honors for innovative technology enterprises in China. The certification criteria are stringent, and the review process is highly rigorous. Enterprises are comprehensively evaluated from multiple dimensions, including core intellectual property rights, the ability to commercialize scientific and technological achievements, the level of R&D organization and management, and enterprise growth potential.

This re-approval signifies the continued recognition at the national level of the achievements our company has made in scientific and technological innovation over the past three years. Since first obtaining high-tech enterprise certification, the company has attached great importance to technological innovation and R&D investment, fostering an internal work environment that actively encourages innovation. Our innovation system has steadily improved, laying a solid foundation for continuously enhancing the company’s level of scientific and technological innovation. Upholding the corporate philosophy of “innovation-driven and striving for excellence,” and leveraging our technology center as a key platform and industry-academia-research collaboration as a supporting pillar, we have carried out a series of initiatives in areas such as the project selection and approval mechanism, management of R&D funding, industry-academia-research cooperation, and performance evaluation of R&D personnel—providing robust guarantees for the smooth implementation of R&D projects. Over the past three years, we have continuously engaged in R&D and innovation focused on key technologies for improving graphite electrode quality and reducing smelting consumption. We have completed 11 R&D projects and achieved 19 scientific and technological breakthroughs, all of which have been successfully commercialized and applied to six high-tech products—including ultra-high-power graphite electrodes and ultra-high-power graphite connectors—thereby creating significant value and enhanced customer experience.

According to relevant regulations, enterprises that obtain self-certification as high-tech enterprises can enjoy a 10% reduction in corporate income tax for three years following certification—meaning they will pay income tax at a rate of 15%—as well as preferential policies such as an additional deduction for R&D expenses. These benefits provide strong support for companies to continuously increase their R&D investment and attract top-tier talent. The policy dividends are driving development, and the recognition as a high-tech enterprise is indeed delivering tangible policy benefits.
