Recently, Shanxi Juxian Graphite New Materials Co., Ltd. joined the "Shanxi Carbon Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance," becoming a council member of the alliance, with President Zhang Xiangjun serving as an executive director.

The Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance refers to a technology innovation cooperation organization formed by enterprises, universities, research institutions, or other organizations based on the development needs of enterprises and the common interests of all parties. Its goal is to promote industrial development and enhance industrial technology innovation capabilities, secured by legally binding contracts, and characterized by joint development, complementary advantages, shared benefits, and shared risks.

The Shanxi Carbon Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance was initiated by Datong University, which serves as the chairman unit. Established in 2017, the alliance consists of a council, an expert advisory committee, and a secretariat (a permanent executive body). The alliance members mainly include 11 leading carbon industry enterprises from within and outside the province. Its main tasks are to distill the major current technological needs of the carbon industry, organize member units to carry out several major technological innovations and key research activities around critical issues in carbon industry technology innovation, promote significant scientific and technological breakthroughs in the carbon industry, develop core technologies and core products of the carbon industry, support and lead the comprehensive development of the carbon industry, and realize the promotion and application of advanced carbon technologies in China and global markets.

In 2019, the Shanxi Carbon Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance was officially recognized by the Shanxi Provincial Department of Science and Technology. Enterprises joining the alliance become members and can access industry policy trends first through the alliance's information platform and technology sharing, quickly grasp technology trends, market demands, and competitive dynamics. In terms of technological innovation and research and development, they can leverage external intellectual resources (such as joint laboratories and technical experts) to reduce independent R&D costs, accelerate technological breakthroughs, avoid duplicate development of similar technologies, and improve innovation efficiency. This enables technology upgrades and market expansion at lower costs and higher efficiency, helping to promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements and enhance overall enterprise competitiveness. Additionally, members can jointly influence industry policies and technology roadmaps by formulating industry technical standards and participating in policy discussions, greatly enhancing market leadership.
