On April 25, 2024, the Coke Chemistry Subcommittee of the National Coal Chemical Industry Standardization Committee successfully held a coke standardization review meeting in Shanghai, with nearly 30 experts in attendance. Dong Zengliang, factory director of Ju Xian Graphite Machinery Division and executive deputy director of the Technology Center, and Ma Wei, deputy director of the Technology Center, were invited to attend the meeting.

The meeting was chaired by the Metallurgical Industry Information and Standards Research Institute, the secretariat of the Coke Chemistry Subcommittee of the National Coal Chemical Industry Standardization Committee. The meeting reviewed and approved three national standards: 《煤系针状焦》(Coal-based needle coke), 《洗油》(Washed oil), and 《甲基萘油》(Methyl naphthalene oil), and three group standards of the China Iron and Steel Association: 《填料式脱硫塔专用PDS脱硫催化剂》(PDS desulfurization catalyst for packed desulfurization towers), 《填料式脱硫塔专用清塔剂》(Cleaning agent for packed desulfurization towers), and 《捣固焦入炉煤饼堆密度测定方法》(Method for determining the bulk density of coal briquettes charged into the coke oven). Among them, the revision of the 《煤系针状焦》(Coal-based needle coke) standard was based on GB/T 32158-2015, incorporating actual production data and usage experience of domestic products to revise key indicators. Ju Xian Graphite participated in the revision of this national standard.
