On October 21, 2020, the first general meeting of the seventh session of the China Carbon Industry Association was held in Datong City, Shanxi Province, at which Juxian Graphite was elected as the executive director unit group chairman Zhang Xiangjun, President Wang Sizhai and his party leaders attended the meeting.

China Carbon Industry Association is a national and industrial social organization composed of carbon production and management enterprises, scientific research and design institutes. In the past five years, China's carbon industry has always put advocating green economy and promoting energy conservation and emission reduction in an important position. The level of energy conservation and emission reduction in the whole industry has been greatly improved, and the level of energy consumption has been continuously reduced. In order to make the carbon industry better organize production and operation, promote scientific and technological progress and enhance international competitiveness, China Carbon Industry Association has systematically improved, revised and formulated carbon product standards, and has also formulated national standards, industry standards or group standards for some new products that have not formulated standards and some raw materials. In addition, the China Carbon Industry Association also actively advocates green development, accelerates environmental protection upgrades, accelerates technological innovation, and solidly makes up for shortcomings, so as to realize the transformation from a carbon power to a carbon power.

The meeting began with a general meeting of members and a general election. There are mainly the work report of the sixth council; the report on the use of the association's funds; the report on the revision of the Constitution of the China Carbon Industry Association; the election of the seventh council member, executive director, and head of the association of the China Carbon Industry Association; the newly elected president Speech.

During the conference, an industry development summit forum was also held. Professor Liu Hongbo from Hunan University, Cao Wangjian, technical director of Hangzhou Central Control Technology Co., Ltd., and other experts analyzed and elaborated on the wide use of special carbon materials, the manufacturing status and development trend of the carbon industry. The main contents include the current situation and development trend of enterprise intelligent manufacturing; the current situation and prospect of electric furnace steelmaking in China; the current situation of research and development and production of special graphite and its wide application fields; carbon equipment manufacturing, raw material introduction and exchange.
